MG Umpire Argentina v Nigeria-198244.jpg

I am sure you would rather be looking at the photos then reading about me...

I have always been involved in sport, played rugby at Colt level many years ago, played cricket at a high level and supporter of  Guernsey Cricket. A former umpire with the ICC Regional A&A Umpire Panel. A lover of rugby, cricket and all sports.

Umpiring has taken me all over Europe and I've had the opportunity to umpire teams such as Guernsey, Jersey, Denmark, Argentina, Kuwait, Bahrain, Bermuda, Namibia, Italy, Germany, Austria, France, Israel, Spain, Croatia, Gibraltar, Isle of Man, Norway, Greece, Vanuatu, Bahamas, Mozambique, Malta, Belgium and Portugal

Photography has always been an interest and a renewed interest over the past few years has led to  www.guernseysportphotography.com

The aim is to be a tool for sports administrations in promoting their sport at no cost to that sport. Mad idea I know, but it might work...

Sport photography takes up most of my time but I do occasionally get time to catch a landscape or something that ticks the box... love Safari photography, check out the 'My Other Photography' page...

You will see me around, no doubt carrying a long lens... I am a Canon man and use Canon 1dx's, a 1d Mark iv, a 5dsr and a 7d.
The main lenses are a
Canon EF 600mm f/4L Is II UsM, Canon EF 400mm f/2.8  lI IS USM,  Canon 200mm L IS USM, Canon 70-200mm F/2.8 L IS II USM,  Canon 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6 L IS USM Canon EF 8-15mm f/4 Fisheye and Sigma 50-500mm f/4-6.3 EX DG APO HSM  Canon fit lens. A Manfrotto Tripod and Mono-Pod complete the kit...

Printing done on a Canon Pro-1000 imagePROGRAF...

Interest includes photography, rugby and cricket. Favourite holidays include safari, beach and cruising. Building also occupies my time - extending what is home. Last but not least is my family... Jinny, who has supported me fully in my sport, photography and more lately my ICC/GACUS Umpiring, and the Kiddies, actually they are Luke, Jess and James.

Enjoy the photos...
